The 'East York' neighbourhood also known as 'Old East York' is just south of the Don Valley and benefits from some excellent ravine parks along it's north border in addition to excellent access to Toronto's major North/South highway in the East end, the Don Valley Parkway.

The housing stock in this neighbourhood ranges from large ravine lot houses to many smaller post-war bungalows.

On Donlands and Coxwell south of O'Connor residents will find a wide variety of shops including restaurants, bars, bakeries, convenience stores, etc.
