Welcome to Leaside

Well, I could try to explain the boundaries of this large neighbourhood but I think I'll just refer you to the map. Sort of arrow shaped pointing South. Hey if Italy can be famous for the boot, perhaps we can refer to Leaside as the Arrow from now on. Thoughts?

Leaside is home to the upper middle and upper class demographic with tear down homes selling at well over $500K and McMansion type homes consistently achieving over a million. Leaside offers anything from bungalows to semi detached to row houses right up to your large 5 bedroom newly built mansion. This area also contains some of the best schools in the public school system. Our Broker actually went to school here from grade 2 up to gr 13! Although he wasn't lucky enough to live in the immediate area (lived in neighbouring Flemingdon Park). Leaside has become quite the hot spot mainly due to the fantastic, fully stocked retail strip on Bayview Avenue between Millwood and Eglinton. All your banks and boutique shops exist among very few big brand stores. Great restaurants and coffee shops too! Well serviced by the Bayview 11 bus line and easy access to Eglinton Station and the DVP make the Leaside neighbourhood top choice for well to do professionals with families.

Neighbourhood Hot spots

Olde York Fish and Chips

Restaurant

A great local option for fish and chips. Is it the best in the City? Well, depends on who you ask. I'd like to see a Toronto Fish and Chips competition to declare a clear winner once and for all!

Fukui Sushi

Restaurant

Great Sushi on a great retail strip of Bayview Ave in Leaside. Enjoy some delicately prepared sashimi or tasty and creative rolls prepared by the master sushi chefs!

Kamasutra Indian Restaturant

Restaurant

It's some 1700 years since the worldly sage, Mallanga Vatsyayana wrote his epic Indian tale of love... The Kama Sutra. Written in ancient Sanskrit, (for the eyes of the ruling elite only), it's a doctrine dedicated to the celebration of love. Having studied it from every angle (purely for culinary inspiration!), we realize the words are, in fact, a metaphor for "the love of food". Our culinary team has stayed true to the actual origin of each dish. No stone is left unturned in our quest to provide our guests with a remarkable dining experience. All will be revealed as you feast your senses over the cornucopia of exotic and evocative eastern cuisine.

Leaside Memorial Gardens

Amenity

An Leaside area staple. A hockey and free skate rink, banquet hall and pool have kept kids and parents busy for decades! Teh annual sports cards and memorabilia show have provided great childhood memories for our Broker. Definitely worth a visit

Serena Gundy Park
