Welcome to Niagara
Bordered by the South side of Queen St to the North, Atlantic Avenue to the West, Bathurst to the East and Front St to the South. Named after Niagara St, the curved street that intersects the neighbourhood. A nicely planned neighbourhood that has managed to retain some Old Toronto charm with Victoria Park to the South of King off Portland and many other green areas to provide much needed relief from the high energy of King St.
Originally home to the working class in the early 1900's, the Niagara Neighbourhood has turned in to a playground for Toronto's young and wealthy. Thompson Rooftop, KiWe, Brasaii and the exclusive Spoke Club as well as top restaurants including Scarpetta at the Thompson, Blowfish and the more casual Zoe's Bakery are the top hotspots in this ever changing, high energy Downtown community.
